Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Blaine, Washington, two hours north of Seattle and 45 minutes south of Vancouver. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. The are The Loomis Trail Golf Course and The Semiahmoo Golf Course.
The first of the two courses to open was Semiahmoo Golf Course, an Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay design that opened for play in 1987. Loomis Trail Golf course was designed by Graham Cooke. Loomis Trail opened in 1992.
The Semiahmoo Course __________
Semiahmoo plays to a par 72 qand maximum distance of 7,005 yards. The Forward tees measure 5,299 yards.
The Semiahmoo Course is a heavily-wooded design, has relatively large, contoured greens and plenty of sand bunkers. Hole #11, a 371-yard, par 4, features a fingery bunker between the fairway and the lake on the right. And with a cove of the lake eating into the fairway on the right before the green, there's little to be gained by cutting across the corner on this hole.
Semiahmoo is open to the public on odd days of the month.
The Loomis Trail Course __________
The Loomis Trail Course has open fairways and medium-sized greens that are relatively flat and fast. An extensive canal and lake system brings water into play on all 18 holes, giving Loomis Trail one of the highest slope ratings in Washington.
The course is open to the public on even days of the month.

We purchased a resort package that included this golf course or Loomis trail. We had not played for a very long time and this course was challenging but fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was beautiful with wide fairways. We had a great time. My only complaint was they did not have a drink cart on the course. One of the staff explained the position was open and had not been filled. We highly recommend this package and be sure to get the water view room as it is so worth the upgrade. This resort is a great getaway from Seattle with no mountains to cross on the drive to the resort.

Stunningly beautiful. The course is in great condition. Fast greens. I wish it were a bit less expensive, but I will still drive up and play it a couple times a year.

WE PLAYED WITH A MEMBER/FRIEND ON A MEMBER/GUEST DAY AND ENJOYED THE REDUCED RATE, AN ALMOST EMPTY COURSE, AND A VERY GOOD PACE. TRY THE ALL YOU CAN EAT BEEF RIBS ON THURSDAYS: PRICE IS GREAT, THE RIBS ARE PLENTIFUL, AND WE ATE MORE THAN WE COULD. THE SEMIAHMOO INN DOWN THE ROAD IS ALSO VERY GOOD. SEMIAHMOO'S SISTER COURSE, LOOMIS TRAIL, IS TOUGHER.

Excellent golf course. Superintendent and his/her staff all deserve a raise! Could be the best course we have played all year, but there is still some golf left to be had. :0) Would highly recommend playing. Greens were perfect speed. Greens crew were polite and friendly, one gentlemen actually got off of his mower to help me find my ball!
